Denis Gilbert: Rimouski, Québec, Canada; I am a self-employed oceanographer and climate scientist. From 1991 to 2021, I was research scientist for the Department of Fisheries and Oceans Canada. I have broad interests in the fields of oceanography, meteorology, climate, renewable energy, electric and hybrid vehicles, and several other science topics. Texts are only available in the initial language of writing of each post (about 50% English, 50% French).
